It’s your day - let’s make it about you!
It all begins with an idea.
You want to get married and you’ve come to us to make it happen! This stage is to help you reflect on what you imagine for your wedding, so that we can create a celebration that makes you say, “This is so us!”
Please review the information below, and if anything jumps out to you as a “Heck yes!” make a note of it - we’ll go over your yays and nays during your consultation.
Together, we’ll build a plan that speaks to your individuality and celebrates your love story authentically.
What time of day would you like to get married?
There’s pros and cons to any option and we’re happy to walk you through them all.
Morning
A new day symbolizes a fresh beginning. Perfect for early risers, and for folks who are sensitive to mid-day heat.
Bonus: you can do whatever you want with the rest of your day!
Afternoon
The most common time for a ceremony, pairing nicely with an evening of celebrations or a quiet night to yourselves.
Consider bringing a fun pair of sunnies if you choose a time closer to mid-day, that bright light can be harsh on sensitive eyes.
Sunset
Nothing beats the warm glow of golden hour. When weather plays along, a ceremony at sunset sends you into the evening in the most romantic way.
Choosing Your Ceremony Location
We recommend choosing a location that has sentimental meaning to the two of you - a first (or favourite) date spot, a family property, the location of your first kiss…if you can dream it, we can make it happen.
Consider any specific needs you might have for your ceremony site.
Some examples : dog friendly, accessible, chairs/benches, ability to bring an arch or chuppah.
We’ve listed some common venue themes below - if any of these speak to you, let us know!
